Your first step

The free consultation: 15 to 20 minutes that bring clarity

You have probably had more conversations with doctors than you would have liked. This one is built differently: 15 to 20 minutes, free, no obligation, and with a clear result. We listen, place your situation and tell you whether a structured assessment with us is worth it or whether you are better served elsewhere. Then you decide at your own pace.

The free consultation: 15 to 20 minutes that bring clarity

What the consultation is for

Before anything is measured or treated, we want to understand you: your complaints, your history, what you have tried so far and what you are hoping for. The free consultation exists precisely for this: a calm chance to get to know one another, not a sales pitch.

We listen, answer your questions and explain how we work: every patient starts with a structured assessment of history, existing findings, questionnaires and clinical examination, with lab work and imaging where needed. Whether qEEG brain mapping is added is decided after that. Neuromodulation is one building block in that plan: an unrecognised underactive thyroid or wrecked sleep dampens the prefrontal cortex just as depression does, and then that gets treated first. By the end of the conversation you know what options realistically exist.

How the conversation goes

You do not need to prepare. It only helps if you have any relevant previous findings or a list of your medications to hand. Typically we talk about:

  • Your concern and your most important complaints.
  • Your treatment history so far.
  • How our diagnostics and the possible treatments work.
  • Whether our approach makes sense for you. If not, we tell you in the same conversation.
  • Your open questions, including about the organisational and time frame.

The conversation can take place in person on site or by phone/video, as you prefer.

Open from the start

Neuromodulation and neurofeedback help many people, but not everyone responds the same way. How far you get shows in the course, which is exactly why we measure before and after instead of assuring you in advance.

If, in our view, our approach is not the right one for you, you hear that in the conversation, without evasion, and where we know it, who is more likely to help you. An extra appointment that brings you nothing brings us nothing either. How we weigh efficacy and evidence is explained under research.

What does it cost? And what happens next?

The consultation itself is free. Costs only arise once you decide on the assessment or a treatment, and they depend on the plan that follows from it. That is why we do not name flat prices out of the blue but quote everything before you commit.

After the consultation, you alone decide whether to take the next step, usually the structured assessment. There is no pressure and no obligation. Where we welcome you can be seen under location.

Frequently asked questions

Is the consultation really free?
Yes. The consultation is free and non-binding. Costs only arise if you later decide on the assessment or a treatment, and we quote them beforehand.
Do I have to commit to anything after the conversation?
No. There is no obligation whatsoever. You decide for yourself, at your own pace, whether and when you wish to take a next step. We apply no pressure.
How should I prepare?
You do not need to prepare. It only helps if you have any relevant previous findings or a list of your medications to hand. More important is that you bring your questions.
Does the consultation take place on site or online?
Both are possible. Depending on your preference, we can talk in person on site or by phone or video. Where we are located can be found on the location page.
Do I already get a diagnosis in the consultation?
No. The consultation is for getting to know one another and for orientation. A reliable answer only emerges after the structured assessment, which a physician combines with your history, supplemented by a qEEG where needed.

What fits you is shown by the structured assessment. The free consultation takes 15 to 20 minutes and clarifies whether this path is worth it for you.
